Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 153rd birth anniversary at Rajghat on Sunday (October 2). Bhajan programs were also organized on this occasion. At the same time, before paying tribute to Bapu, PM Modi also tweeted. By tweeting, he described Gandhi Jayanti this time as very special. He also explained the importance of Gandhi Jayanti to the people.
Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated every year on 2 October as the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who dedicated his life to India’s struggle for independence.
PM Modi also made a tweet paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. In his tweet, he wrote that tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on Gandhi Jayanti.
