Referring to the tragic incident on April 22, where 26 innocent civilians lost their lives in a brutal attack by terrorists, PM Modi said, “This wasn’t just an attack on tourists, it was an attack on the soul of India.” He reassured the victims' families, saying the entire nation mourns with them and stands united in this fight.

In a clear ultimatum to the attackers and their handlers, the PM said “Those who carried out this attack and those who conspired will be punished in a way they can’t even imagine.” He emphasized that India will leave no stone unturned in tracking down and bringing every terrorist to justice.

Following a high-level CCS (Cabinet Committee on Security) meeting, India has reportedly imposed several sanctions on Pakistan. These include suspensions under the Indus Waters Treaty and halting visa services for Pakistani nationals, signaling a strong diplomatic response.
