Amidst the possibility of a third wave in Punjab, the Captain Amarinder Singh government on Thursday issued new guidelines for Kovid-19. These important guidelines will continue till September 15. According to the new guidelines, people coming to Punjab from outside states, whether they are coming into Punjab through road or by air, will have to show negative RTPCR report of 72 hours.

Also they should have both the vaccines. At the same time, the gathering of people has also been banned. 150 people can gather in indoor and only 300 people in outdoor. Also, according to the new guidelines, gyms, cinemas, restaurants will remain open with 50 percent capacity.

The risk of infection among children has increased in Punjab amid a possible third wave of corona infection. This has been revealed in the survey conducted by the Centre. According to the 30-day data in Punjab, the rate of infection among children has increased at the rate of 9.6 percent. After the opening of the school from August 2, more cases of infection have been seen in children.
