Punjab News: Punjab CM meets Gadkari, discusses Pending Projects

Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss about the progress of the Jalandhar-Hoshiyarpur Road, particularly the Adampur Flyover. The CM informed the Union Minister of the pending issues in the project and requested him to look into the matter so that the project will be completed soon as it is causing discomfort to the residents of Punjab.

Gadkari: The Project will be concluded soon

The Union Minister assured the Punjab CM that the project will be concluded soon without any delay. The Transport Minister also promised that he will make sure to look after the speed of work so that it finishes on time. Both the Ministers also discussed the progress of the Delhi-Katra Highway project and ensured that the work on this project should be finished soon as this will uplift the economy. This expressway will benefit lakhs of tourists visiting the shrine and will help in developing the Tourism sector also.

Punjab CM: Highhandedness of Toll Plazas should be stopped

The Punjab CM also discussed the unruly behavior of the Toll Plazas on the Highways. He briefed him about the high price of the tickets being sold on the Toll Plazas, saying this should not be accepted.
