Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by a Sambhal court over his remark, "We are now fighting the BJP, the RSS, and the Indian State itself." The statement has sparked political controversy, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly criticizing it.

Reacting to the development, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said that remarks made by political leaders carry significant weight and can influence society. “The statements made by a politician or a person from the social sector have a huge impact. In the last few days, we have seen certain statements leading to violent incidents. This is a matter of concern, and if the court has taken cognizance, then he will definitely learn a lesson from it,” Sharma stated.
