But the ravages of the weather are not leaving the farmers behind. For the last three days, rain has started again in different states of the country. In some states, very heavy rains are being recorded. The havoc of rain has been seen in Maharashtra. Crops have been ruined here.

Damage to horticulture crops in Maharashtra

It is raining very fast in many districts of Maharashtra. It is raining heavily in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar for the last two days. Due to this, hundreds of bighas of crops standing in the fields have been affected due to flood. More damage has also been done to the cotton crop. Farmers say that farmers have no option but to watch the rains. How to save the farmer? Only the state government is expected to compensate for the loss.

Onion crop destroyed in thousands of hectares

The effect of rain has been seen in Vaijapur taluka. It is raining more in Dahegaon area. Its effect has been on onions. Onion planted in thousands of hectares has been damaged. The local farmer told that Dahegaon's onion is sent to other states. This time onion was sown in 50 bighas. But the crop has been affected due to rain.

Orders issued for crop survey

Farmers are continuously demanding compensation for the damaged crops. On the other hand, it has come forward keeping in mind the demands of the farmers. The state government has issued orders for Girdawari. According to media reports, State Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar has said that the work of survey of damaged crops will be completed in the next week.

After this, the compensation amount will be given to the farmers. Wherein, the farmers who are sowing cotton. Cash will be bought from them and exported.
