As Uttar Pradesh's 22nd chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, a BJP leader, is currently in office. He was elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time in 1998 as a representative of the Gorakhpur seat, and has since been re-elected five times.

Yogi Adityanath's active parliamentary engagement

Yogi Adityanath actively participated in parliamentary business and had a 77% attendance record during his time in the 16th Lok Sabha. CM Yogi will take part in the World Environment Day programme today in honour of his 51st birthday, which will be held online. On this occasion, CM Yogi would simultaneously give oaths for environmental preservation to 762 organisations and 58 000 gramme panchayats. 25 street merchants will also receive cards from CM in addition to this. For CM Yogi's birthday celebrations, BJP members have planned events in each district.
