Raksha Bandhan 2022: Rakshabandhan is one such festival which is eagerly awaited by every brother and sister. This day is very important for brother and sister as on this day sisters tie rakhi on the wrist of their brothers praying for their long life, in return the brother gives gifts to them promising their sister’s protection. This festival signifies the love of brother and sister and goodwill for each other. But Rakshabandhan for the soldiers are very different. This year school students are sending rakhis as well as rakhis are being posted safely for them.
School Students are Sending Rakhis to Soldiers
Education institutions and social organizations are actively participating in Bharat Raksha Parv campaign, so that the wrists of the soldiers posted on the border are not left empty. Various organizations in the capital are sending rakhis for the soldiers.

Rakhi Delivery to the Soldiers
Also time on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the postal department is making arrangements to deliver the rakhis of sisters to their brothers safely. The department has made arrangements for waterproof envelopes in the post offices for sending Rakhi. In these envelopes, arrangements have also been made to secure the Rakhis to the soldiers posted along the border with different parts of the country. These envelopes are being sold fiercely from the main post office.
