Reliance Jio has accused Airtel and Vodafone-Idea (VI) of spreading false rumors

Reliance Jio Infocom-RJio has accused Airtel and Vodafone-Idea (VI) of spreading false rumors. The company has demanded strict action from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Actually, Jio alleges that Airtel and VI unethically spread rumors that Jio is going to benefit from the new agricultural laws during the Kisan agitation. Significantly, protests are going on in many places in northern India regarding the new agricultural laws.

Jio has said - These companies have been consistently / indirectly supporting such lies and petty rumors that Reliance will be unfairly benefited by the new agricultural laws. Jio has also attributed these rumor campaigns to a large number of port requests.
Customers are referring
According to Jio, customers are referring to these campaigns to get their numbers ported. Customers are also saying that apart from this, they do not have any service related or other problems with Jio.

In a letter to TRAI, RJio said - Vi and Airtel are trying to get customers out of Reliance Jio by luring them. Many social platforms are being used for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) campaign. Jio customers are being asked to port on Airtel and V. RJio has also submitted photos and videos to TRAI as evidence.
