Republic Day 2023: Google joins the festivities with a hand-cut-looking doodle made by Ahmedabad-based creator

Republic Day 2023: Today, January 26, India celebrates its 74th Republic Day. Google too joined the celebration by updating its doodle on the occasion. Parth Kothekar, an artist based in Ahmedabad, contributed to the festivities with the Google Doodle for today. In the doodle art, a skillfully made hand-cut paper can be seen.

Doodle includes special elements from Republic Day

In the artwork, Doodle depicts a variety of Republic Day parade components, including the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the India Gate, the CRFP marching unit, and motorcycle riders.

It nicely captures the fascination that every Indian has for the magnificent Republic Day Parade. His Google Doodle features a prominent image of the President House along with an illustration of the stunning bike pyramids that soldiers of the military made while on parade.

The 61 Cavalry regiment, which is the only horse cavalry force that is now active in the globe, is represented by some riders in the artwork.

In addition to this, the doodle features various images, such the CRPF marching unit, India Gate, the peacock, and others.

I couldn’t believe: Artist Parth Kothekar

Parth Kothekar, an artist from Ahmedabad, remarked that when he initially learned of the chance to make a Google Doodle, he couldn’t believe it.

“I had goosebumps! I reread the email multiple times as I couldn’t believe it,” said Parth while telling about his reaction. Moreover, he mentioned that he informed his mother and sister of the news. Additionally, he claimed that he never imagined he would have such a chance.
