Akash missile is one of India's most dangerous surface-to-air missiles. Akash Prime is equipped with an indigenous Active RF seeker, which increases the accuracy of identifying enemy targets. Akash-NG which is Akash New Generation Missile has also been successfully tested.

Akash-NG is a surface-to-air missile. It has been made for the Indian Air Force. Its range is 40 to 80 kilometers. In addition, it is equipped with Active Electronically Scanned Array Multi Function Radar (MFR) which can simultaneously scan multiple enemy missiles or aircraft. At present, there are three variants of Akash in India – the first Akash MK – its range is 30KM. Second Akash Mk. 2- Its range is 40KM. Their speed is 2.5 Mach that is 3087 kilometers per hour.

These field guns replaced the older 25 pounder guns, reflecting the growing 'self-reliance' in the defense sector. Four Mi-17 1V/V5 helicopters of 105 Helicopter Unit showering flowers on the spectators on duty.
