Republic Day Parade 2023: Tableaux of the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force at the Republic Day parade in Delhi

India is celebrating 74th Republic Day today on 26 January. Kartavyapath parade is going out on this occasion. The power of indigenous military might and women power is visible in this parade. Where deadly weapons like Akash missile, Arjun tank on the path of duty showed the valor of the army, the flight of 50 aircraft including Prachanda and Rafale displayed the power of the Indian Air Force beyond borders. After this, cultural diversity is visible in the tableaux of the states. President Draupadi Murmu is leading the nation on the path of duty. This time on the Republic Day, the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi (Abdel Fattah EI – Sisi) is the chief guest.

Earlier, this time on the path of duty, the country saw history being made. For the first time in the country, tribal woman President Draupadi Murmu took the salute of the parade. As per tradition, the national flag was unfurled followed by the national anthem with a 21-gun salute. After this the parade started. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed President Draupadi Murmu and Republic Day chief guest Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the path of duty.

Indian air force unit

The Indian Air Force contingent led by Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy consisted of 144 airmen and four officers. The tableau of the Air Force was prepared on the theme ‘The Power of the Indian Air Force Beyond Borders’. Light Combat Aircraft Tejas MK-II, Light Combat Helicopter ‘Prachanda’, Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft Netra and C-295 Transport Aircraft were displayed in this tableau. The tableau also saw a team of Garudas in combat gear with laser designation equipment and specialist weapons.
