RSS Chief Says People, Government Became Negligent After First Covid Wave

On the current situation of Corona in the country, Rashtriye swaym sevak sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Saturday that it is time for the exam and we have to be positive.

Bhagwat was addressing the program 'Positivity Unlimited'. He also said that the government and public had become careless after the first wave of Corona.

"We have to be positive and take precautions to keep ourselves covid negative in the current situation. In the present circumstances, making irrational statements should also be avoided. It is exam time but we have to be united and act like a team", he said.

On the current situation of Covid, the RSS chief further said that success and failure are not final, courage to continue matters.

He said, "We are facing this situation because the government, administration and the public all became careless after the first wave of Covid. Now the third wave is being talked about, but we need to prepare ourselves, not to be afraid. ''

Addressing the program, Mohan Bhagwat further said that the corona pandemic is a challenge before humanity and India has to set an example. We have to work as a team without discussing the merits. We can do this later. We can overcome this challenge by working as a team and speeding up our work.

He talked about focusing the nation towards the future so that the people and the government can learn from the present experiences and prepare for it. He spoke of removing the difficulties facing India.

Bhagwat encouraged Indians to learn from today's mistakes and develop confidence to face a possible third wave.

This series, coordinated by the RSS's "Covid Response Team" in collaboration with various social service groups, is being held for five days from May 11. Online speakers in it include Azim Premji, founder of the Wipro group, and spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev.
