Indian Opposition Parties Blast NDA

In several posts on X and other social media platforms, India’s opposition parties blasted the arrogant giveaway of Donald Trump.

Leading social activist Prashant Bhushan commented on X that the Indian Prime Minister has turned India into a vassal State of the US.

Interestingly, India has never stopped purchasing crude oil from Russia. This was despite repeated warnings and requested by the United States to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India asking them to stop Russian oil purchases.

Social Media Reactions

Many social media users blasted the rhetoric of the Indian opposition parties. A user commented, “If USA is releasing statements it doesn’t mean every time we have to follow…. They have the power to release statements not to stop us buying Russia oil.”

Another user commented, “India was buying oil from Russia even in February and had never stopped purchasing Russian oil. So the statement from the US saying that India can buy Russian oil for 30 days is nothing but a narrative for their own audience. In reality, it looks like a childish attempt to create the impression that the US is allowing India while India has already been buying Russian oil despite pressure.”
