DON'T MISS
Jaishankar remarked that the Indian government has already urged all sides to avoid escalation, exercise restraint and prioritize civilian safety. The EAM added that India strongly believes that diplomacy along with dialogue are critical and essential to de-escalate all forms of regional and other issues in order to address underlying concerns.
Jaishankar also commented that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries is important and there could not be any compromise. He added that the Cabinet Committee of Security (CCS) had already met to find ways on how to stay focus on the relevant implications for economic & commercial activities as well as regional security & prosperity.
Has the NDA Govt Exposed The Opposition?
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized on global peace, de-escalation of issues, citizen security and diplomacy.
The remarks of Jaishankar clearly and totally expose the statements and claims made by many members of India’s opposition parties, including the Indian National Congress, Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. Jaishankar remarked during his speech that India’s priorities are not to take sides like in the past during the regime of the Congress party. The EAM said that India comes first for us and political rule is not a concern.
The ruling NDA government has time and again stood out firm and tall despite global uncertainty and economic challenges such as punitive trade tariffs.
