During the second wave of corona in the country, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has intensified his attacks on the BJP government. From Twitter to Parliament, Gandhi had been active in criticising the Centre’s policies during the pandemic. In the latest, the Congress leader has attacked government’s claim of death due to lack of oxygen in Parliament and against agricultural laws. While Rahul targeted the Center over the deaths caused by Corona through a video on Twitter, on the other hand, he also staged a demonstration in the Parliament House against the BJP government over agricultural laws.
Today is the third day of the monsoon session of Parliament. Rahul tweeted a video on Thursday. It featured long queues of people wandering for oxygen during the second wave of the corona. He captioned the video as, “Everything will be remembered”.
On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi protested against the Centre’s agricultural laws at the Parliament House. During this time many other Congress leaders were also with Rahul Gandhi, especially the MPs of the Punjab unit of the party. In their hands were placards saying ‘Save Country, Save Farmers’.
Earlier, Congress MPs had also moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha today to discuss agricultural laws. Party MPs Deepender Hooda and Pratap Singh Bajwa had also moved an adjournment motion in the Rajya Sabha regarding the farmers’ movement.
