The Aam Aadmi Party is heading for an alliance with the Samajwadi Party ahead of upcoming Uttar Pradesh polls, confired AAP leader Sanjay Singh. The senior leader made the announcement following his meeting with Akhilesh Yadav on Wedsnesday/
Sanjay had an hour-long meeting with SP Chief at the Lohia Trust office in Lucknow.
Speaking on the possibility of an alliance with AIMIM, Yadav said there would be no talks with the party’s chief, Asaduddin Owaisi.
SP leader Sunil Singh Sajan said that the SP is constantly supporting smaller parties to defeat the BJP. “BJP has not done any development in Purvanchal and is presenting a wrong model of development,” he said.
