New Delhi: The Delhi Police reported that a 40-year-old man who was discovered dead close to the Red Fort was allegedly slain by a juvenile guy he attempted to have sex with. Shambhu, the male, was discovered decomposing on a pavement behind the Red Fort on 15 April. When the body was discovered, locals notified the police, and a probe was started. According to the police, when the team arrived on the scene, they discovered blood dripping from the victim’s mouth and head. The victim also sustained a head injury.

Based on the accounts of the eye witnesses, the police quickly detained a 16-year-old Seikhpura resident who confessed to the crime when questioned. The authorities were able to identify the individual based on the story of one eye witness, Shajid Khan, a friend of the victim. However, they were unable to determine the man’s family name or residence. They opened a murder case and kept the body at a mortuary for 72 hours so that it could be identified more thoroughly.

Sambhu had been attempting to have sex with him during the previous two months
According to the accused, Shambhu reportedly reacted on April 14 and started a struggle that resulted in his death. He was detained by the police, brought before a juvenile court panel, and placed in an observation home. In Delhi, they were unable to locate the teen’s family. The teen said that he left home two years ago in order to move to Mumbai and engage in the movie business. At the Old Delhi Railway Station, however, he met Sambhu and began residing with him. However, the adolescent said that Sambhu had been attempting to have sex with him during the previous two months. The young man, who had attended a school in his village where he had completed second grade, used to labour in a market near Kashmiri Gate in Delhi.
