Some judges part of ‘anti-India gang’: Kiren Rijiju

Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has made a big allegation on the former judges of India. He says that some former judges of India are part of the “Anti India Gang”. He is using India’s judiciary as an opposition party. Kiren Rijiju is the Law Minister of India.

Judges working against india

Kiren Rijiju has said that “recently there was a seminar on accountability of judges. But the seminar focused on how the executive is influencing the judiciary. There are some judges who are activists and part of the anti-India gang which, like the opposition parties, is trying to turn the judiciary against the government.”

Judges controlling the government

Kiren Rijiju further said that “there are some people who go to the Supreme Court and say rein on the government. This can not happen. Judiciary is neutral and judges are not part of any group or political party. How can these people openly say that the Indian judiciary should take on the government?”

Work being done to weaken the judiciary

Keep in mind that Kiren Rijiju was speaking at India Today’s conclave. He said that “If Rahul Gandhi or anyone else says that the Indian Judiciary has been hijacked or that democracy is over in the country. Judiciary is dead, what does it mean? To weaken the Indian Judiciary deliberately work is going on. So they are trying to say day by day that the government is trying to take over the Indian Judiciary.”
