A 12-year-old boy was washed away in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi district on Sunday as he was tryinhg to take a selfie near Sirukalur waterfalls on Kalvarayan hill.
Due to heavy rainfall on the hills, the waterlevels is high as of now.
Tourisits fron Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Pondicherry and few other districts regularly visit these waterfalls.
The named Suresh, he visited Sirukalur waterfalls on Sunday morning to bathe. He was tryinhg to take a selfie with the waterfalls on the backdrop but he slipped on a roch that washed him away with the heavy flow of water.
His friends soon informed the fire stations and Kariyalur police but fter a search for the second day on Monday, the boy couldn’t be traced.
