Targeted Killings Continue: Terrorists fire at two labourers in Budgam district

Terrorist attacks in Kashmir are not stopping; they’re on a rise and increasing exponentially. Within a few hours of the killing of a bank manager in Kulgam of the Valley, terrorists have targeted two migrant laborers. According to the report, two migrant laborers working in a brick kiln in Budgam were attacked by terrorists, in which one died and one was seriously injured. The injured laborer has been admitted to the hospital for treatment Kashmir Zone Police stated.

In the incident that took place at Bapora in Judur area of ​​Budgam, one laborer suffered a bullet injury in the shoulder, while the other suffered a palm injury. Both have been identified as Dilkash and Guri, officials said. The incident happened around 9.10 pm. Police have cordoned off the area and search is on for the terrorists involved in the incident. Both the laborers are residents of Punjab.

In Kulgam, terrorists shot dead a bank worker with links to Rajasthan in the bank premises. For the third time since May 1, a non-Muslim government employee has been killed in the valley. At the same time, this is the eighth case of targeted killings in the last one month. Officials said that Vijay Kumar was the manager in Areh Mohanpora branch of Elakai Dehati Bank in South Kashmir district. He was seriously injured and died on the way to the hospital.

However, taking a big decision on Wednesday, the Kashmir administration had said that all Hindu employees would be posted at the district headquarters and arrangements would be made for their security. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had also called a meeting in this regard. It has been decided in this meeting that all the employees of all Hindu community will be transferred to the district headquarters.
