Telagana: Fire Breaks Out In An E-Bike Showroom Killing 8, Many Jumped Off To Escape

Telagana: A significant fire that started in an electric showroom in Secunderabad on Monday night resulted in at least eight fatalities, including a woman, according to authorities.

At 10 o’clock at night, a lodge and a restaurant on the top four floors of a building close to the passport office caught fire.

The hotel personnel and visitors were aware of the fire and smoke and called the fire brigade. Firefighters arrived at the scene quickly to put out the flames.

The ground level was where the electric scooters were being charged, which, according to the authorities, may have caused a short circuit or fire. About 24 persons were trapped inside, the most of whom were residents of other states, and six of them perished while others were saved.

What did CV Anand, Commissioner of Hyderabad, say

“A hotel fire in Secunderabad left six people dead. Smoke from the fire overwhelmed the residents of the first and second floors who were sheltering in an electric scooter charging station on the ground floor. The remaining individuals jumped from the structure and were saved by locals. Firefighters responded immediately, and they were taken to the hospital “CV Anand, the commissioner of Hyderabad, informed ANI.

The fire started in the store on the ground floor and quickly spread to the lodge on the top story of the structure.

“It is an extremely regrettable situation. Fire brigade workers made every effort to free individuals from the lodge, however some of them perished as a result of the intense smoke. From the resort, some people were rescued”, Telangana Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali told ANI, “We are looking into how the incident occurred”.
