UK Visa: India’s demand for travel to the UK has increased, hence the UK has opted to reinstate its usual 15-day visa procedure. The demand for student visas has ncreased by 89% over the previous year

Ellis said that the processing of their visas had been hindered by Covid-19 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “We are moving again. The demand for student visas has experienced an unheard-of rise; it increased by 89% over the previous year. We are quickly ceasing to provide skilled labour visas in favour of guest visas.

He advised potential applicants to submit their visa applications three months in advance. He added that applications are sent to various centres under the priority and super priority services.

The number of student visas granted would shortly be boosted to break the record of 486,868 visa approvals set in June, a 215% rise, Ellis had earlier in August advised Indian students who wanted to study in the UK.

After the Covid-19 epidemic travelers from the United Kingdom are currently having trouble obtaining visas for India

Travelers from the United Kingdom are currently having trouble obtaining visas for India. After the Covid-19 epidemic shut down the globe, most missions had enormous backlogs that caused significant delays.

“We recognise that making these appointments has been challenging. The problem is being improved as best we can, Ellis stated last week.
“This is what we’re going to do: In the first place, we are making sure that more reservations are made using our online booking service and that these appointment modules are not being abused, as has previously been the case. Second, in collaboration with our service provider, we are ramping up capacity, he added.
