Mumbai: The runway at Mumbai Airport will be closed on Tuesday from 11 am to 5 pm for post-monsoon maintenance, according to a tweet from the airport.

Due to post-monsoon preventive maintenance, step has been taken
The runway will be closed on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 1100 hrs. to 1700 hrs. as part of the airport's post-monsoon preventive maintenance of the runway intersection, according to a tweet from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, or CSMIA.

With more than 800 planes arriving and taking off each day, the annual practise of post-monsoon repair is one of a number of tasks carried out with accuracy and care, according to the CSMIA.
