These Documents Are Necessary For Visiting Vaishno Devi, New Guidelines Issued

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued new guidelines for the devotees visiting Mata Vaishno Devi Temple to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the state. According to the new guideline, it will be mandatory for the devotees visiting Vaishno Devi to bring valid and verifiable RTPCR or Rapid Antigen Test Report for darshan.

Also, the investigation report should not be more than 72 hours old. In the order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday, it has been said that only those pilgrims who do not show symptoms of COVID-19 will be allowed to enter the temple.

The order said, “The valid and verified RTPCR/Rapid antigen test report should not be older than 72 hours of arrival. The good fortune of having darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi means that only those pilgrims will be able to enter the temple, who do not have any symptoms associated with Covid-19.”

According to the order signed by the Chief Secretary of the Union Territory, “Covid-19 appropriate behavior / rules should be strictly followed.”

This order from the Government of Jammu and Kashmir comes after it was observed that the cases of corona in the Union Territory are fluctuating and there is a need to continue to follow the existing prevention measures of Covid-19 in all the districts.
