The Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has fired on the Congress party over the three farm bill and said how they can call it as a black law?

Tomar even used the word 'Khoon Ki Kheeti' to describe the Congress party and their stand on farmers over the years.

Tomar alleged,"Duniya janti hai pani se kheti hoti hai. Khun se kheti sirf Congress he kar sakte hai, BJP khun se kheti nahi kar sakti (The world knows water is required for farming. Only Congress can do farming using blood. BJP cannot do this).”

“Opposition used all platforms to criticise the bills. I heard all their statements during the debate. Opposition is continuously saying that this is a black law and should be repealed. I have been holding meetings with farmers’ unions for the last several months. I'm asking the same question to them also, what are the black provisions in these bills? But till now, I'm waiting for their reply,” he said.

“I made it clear that if the government is ready to make amendments, it doesn't mean there is any problem in farm laws. People in a particular state are misinformed. Farmers are being misled that others would occupy their land if these laws are implemented. Let me know if there is a single provision in contract farming law which allows any trader to snatch away the land of any farmer,” he said.

“Our efforts are that farmers' incomes are doubled and contribution of agriculture to GDP increases rapidly. These agriculture laws are also an important step in this direction. I want to tell this House and farmers that PM Modi is committed towards welfare of farmers,” he added.

Sedition Cases are slapped on one's who question government says Sanjay Raut

After Narendra Singh Tomar's speech, Shiv Sena MP has targetted the Central government and the ongoing violence.

He said that the government has arrested more than 200 peoples in the farmers' protests but they are still unable to find the main accused Deep Sidhu who raised Sikh's flag at the Red Fort. He also targeted the central government over their recent stand on the UAPA act.

"We heard minister Dharmendra Pradhan asking us to listen to the truth. For the last six years, we have been listening to the truth, even the untruth dubbed as truth. The atmosphere in the country today is such that anyone writing the truth is dubbed as traitor and anti-national," he alleged.

"Cases of sedition are slapped on anyone asking questions from the government," he charged.

"Defaming the farmers' agitation is not a good thing for the country, for farmers and for all," he said.

"Over 200 farmers are lodged in jail after being booked for sedition and not Sidhu. Over 100 youth are missing and whether they have been killed in encounters," he asked.

"When the farmers are uniting and fighting for their rights, you see anti-national acts in them and you term them as traitors. They are not anti-nationals or khalistanis.Till the time this movement is alive, the nation will remain alive and this 'andolan'," he said.

"If you would have built such barricades at the international borders, as those put up at Delhi borders, China would not have dared to come into Indian territory," the Sena member added.
