Elon Musk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 87.7 million followers on Twitter, has begun to follow Twitter CEO Elon Musk, who has the most followers on the social networking site. The second-richest person in the world, who acquired Twitter in October of last year and has 134.3 million followers, follows 195 people, including Prime Minister Modi.

The prime minister had met Musk during an official visit to the United States in September 2015.

The news that Musk had begun to follow Modi quickly gained popularity on Twitter. Twitter user Monty Rana poked fun at Rahul Gandhi and the Congress by expressing his wish that the group would refrain from questioning, "Ye Modi-Musk ka rishta kya kehlata hai (What is the relationship between Modi and Musk)?"
