A total of three oxygen generators and 1,000 ventilators had arrived from Britain as part of COVID assistance for India’s fight against the COVID pandemic.
After the delivery of the medical aid, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) expressed gratitude to the UK, for helping them and taking forward the “Comprehensive Stragic Partneship” between the countries.
“A consignment of the Oxygen generators & 1,000 ventilators arrives from the United Kingdom. Each generator has the capacity to produce 500 litres of Oxygen per minute, enough to treat 50 people at a time”: MEA Spokesperson
Earlier, British High Commission had said that the India Red Cross will help transfer the UK aid to hospitals.
