The statements of BJP leader Uma Bharti are continuously increasing the difficulties for the party. Recently, she told BJP supporters that they should “look around” and decide whom to vote for. Now her another statement has created a stir. Uma Bharti said that Lord Ram and Hanuman are not the copyright of BJP.
He gave this statement on the question of the construction of Hanuman temple in the state on behalf of the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath. She is also besieging the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led state government for the demand of prohibition. Recently, Uma Bharti had also made headlines for throwing stones at liquor contracts for the demand of liquor ban in Madhya Pradesh.

Uma Bharti has been the former CM of Madhya Pradesh and is considered one of the tallest leaders of the state. According to reports, she is angry because of being sidelined by the party high command. She supported the controversial statement of BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur, in which she said that Hindus should keep weapons in their homes.

Uma Bharti had said, ‘Even Lord Ram had taken a vow not to give up arms during his exile.’ She said that keeping arms is not wrong, but having violent thoughts is wrong. Uma Bharti made this statement in Chhindwara, where Pragya Thakur had made inflammatory remarks while participating in several programs.
Uma Bharti questioned the need for protest over the uproar over the film ‘Pathan’. She said, ‘The censor board of the BJP government should immediately remove the objectionable scenes.’ She said that there is no need for politics in this. She said, ‘Scenes that hurt someone’s religious sentiments should be removed. India will not tolerate insult of any colour. Saffron is the identity of Indian culture, the censor board should remove these scenes immediately.
