UP Weekend Unlock: Sunday’s lockdown ends from the day of Rakshabandhan, orders issued by CM Yogi

There has been a steady decrease in the cases of corona virus infection inside Uttar Pradesh for the last several days. In view of the reduction in corona infection, the chief of the state Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision. The Yogi government has issued instructions to end the corona curfew inside Uttar Pradesh from Sunday, 22 August. That is, the corona curfew on Sunday is now over.

A few days ago, the government had ended Saturday’s closure, giving partial relaxation in the two-day weekly bandh. However, state government spokesperson Siddharthnath Singh had said on Sunday that the weekly bandh would continue. In this regard, the Home Department has issued a detailed guideline. So right there, now the Yogi government has issued instructions to end the corona curfew inside Uttar Pradesh from Sunday, 22 August. However, despite being unlocked, the government in the state will continue to take precautions to prevent infection.

In 15 districts of the state Aligarh, Amethi, Badaun, Basti, Deoria, Farrukhabad, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kasganj, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Sant Kabirnagar, Shravasti and Shamli, there is not a single patient of Kovid left. These districts are free from Kovid infection today. On an average, more than 2.5 lakh tests are being done every day, while the positivity rate remains 0.01 and the recovery rate is 98.6 percent. So at the same time, in the testing of 02 lakh 33 thousand 350 samples in 24 hours, not a single new case of infection was found in 58 districts.
