A madarassa teacher has been accused of rape in Sheeshgarh area of Bareilly, police said on Sunday. According to the victim, she joined the madrssa four years ago. The accused initially studied with her but later joined the organization as a teacher, she said.
In her complaint accused alleged that they both fell in love each other and was ready to take their relationship a step ahead. Marriage was on the cards for them until the accused raped her on the pretext of marriage and later forced for abortion, Senior Supritendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan said.
“Subsequently when the woman went to the house of the youth, she was given death threat and asked to leave the place,” the officer said.
Sajwan said a case was registered against the teacher on Saturday.
