Nijjar killing

In a video released today, US-based designated terrorist G. S. Pannu of the outlawed Sikh for Justice (SFJ) organisation offered a USD 125,000 reward to anyone with information about the foreign trips of Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Indian High Commissioner to Canada Sanjay Kumar Verma, who were involved in the aiding and conspiring to kill another Khalistan terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in Vancouver in June.

Pannun, a citizen of the US and Canada who is wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, vowed to hold those involved liable under international law for the murder of Nijjar, who was shot dead during gang competition among Sikh extremists.

The SFJ has urged radical Sikhs in Canada to occupy Indian diplomatic buildings in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver on August 15 and has set September 10 aside for a purported Sikh referendum in Vancouver.

The bounty on the heads of Shah, Jaishankar, and Verma has already been reported to local law enforcement and intelligence agencies by Indian diplomats stationed in Canada, but given that the US and India are close allies and work closely together to combat terrorism, it is strange why the US has done nothing about Pannun.

Even though Pannun, an extremist, has announced a reward for picketing these prominent figures and a diplomat while they are abroad, the fact is that the terrorist is openly threatening to target Shah Jaishankar and Verma in the coming days. .

Home Minister Amit Shah has little interest in travelling outside of India till Indian NRIs are permitted to vote in Indian general elections, although India's top diplomat Jaishankar goes overseas the most.

EAM The silence of the US government on Pannun speaks louder than words, according to Jaishankar, who accused the Justin Trudeau government of catering to vote banks by not taking action against Sikh radicals headquartered in Canada. In reality, Indian intelligence has informed their American counterparts that they believe Pannun is a US CIA or FBI agent and that US justice will not take any action against him. In the guise of violating human rights, Canada, the UK, the US, and Germany have provided shelter to extremist Sikhs over the years.

“Openly threatening Amit Shah, Jaishankar and India’s envoy to Canada cannot be termed as freedom of speech. This is unacceptable to India,” said a national security planner.

Lack of action against individuals like Pannun and earlier Nijjar and Khanda (both deceased) has not only given the little Sikh extremists in these countries more power, but it has also given nations like Pakistan the opportunity to fish in dangerous Indian waters.
