In a media report published in the US, it has been claimed that in the Tawang conflict in 2022, America had helped India by giving intelligence.
According to a US News report, just before the confrontation, the USA had warned its Indian partners in the information that a large number of Chinese soldiers were present at the actual position. While warning India, America had said, you are going to be attacked, they are waiting for you by ambushing.
US News quoted several intelligence officers as saying that this was the first time in the encounter in Arunachal Pradesh last year that the US government provided real-time information to its Indian allies. It has been said in the report that the information shared with the Indian Army was very accurate.
What did the White House say?
However, in response to a question asked after this report, the White House on Monday (March 20) refused to confirm the news that claimed that the US had provided important intelligence to the Indian Army last year. Which helped him to successfully deal with Chinese incursions.
John Kirby, the National Security Council’s coordinator for strategic communications at the White House, said when asked about the news, “I can’t confirm it.” They were waiting, said a source. This happened because America had given everything to India for its preparation. This shows how successfully both the armies are now cooperating with each other.
