Providing an official confirmation, Ustad Zakir Hussain’s sister stated, “Please, I request you to pray for him. I am in touch with the family. He is very critical, but he is still breathing.” This statement has brought relief to fans worldwide, though his critical health condition remains a matter of concern.
Earlier, there were reports that Ustad Zakir Hussain had been admitted to a hospital in San Francisco a week ago for heart-related complications. Sources suggested that he was under medical supervision and undergoing health checkups.
