174 people are still missing in the Rishiganga in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, out of which about 35 laborers trapped in the tunnel are still being evacuated. At the same time, 32 bodies have been removed, out of which 8 have been identified. On Wednesday, the fourth day relief work is going on. At the same time, the work of removing debris from the tunnel went on overnight. During this time, the help of drones was also taken. It is being told that it will take more time to remove debris from the tunnel.

Today a meeting was held in Joshimath to review the relief work. Officers of ITBP, Army and local administration as well as officials of all agencies were present in this meeting.

The rescue team is constantly trying to clear the debris and reach the people trapped in the tunnel, but due to excess debris, they are facing many problems. Rescue of stranded persons at T-Point 180 meters away is now being considered as an alternative route. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat is also constantly monitoring this.

DGP Ashok Kumar said that much progress has not been achieved in the rescue operation. We have recovered 32 bodies, out of which eight have been identified. At the same time, 24 are unknown. Rescuers have also recovered the bodies of two Uttarakhand police personnel. Can't confirm the exact number of missing and dead people, but it is between 192 and 204.
