In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, the Railway Minister confirmed that the initial rake (train set) is ready and undergoing necessary trials. The route for the inaugural run has not been finalized yet. However, major routes like New Delhi–Howrah, New Delhi–Mumbai, New Delhi–Pune, and New Delhi–Srinagar are being considered, based on passenger demand and operational viability.
