Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Indian Railways is all set to launch its first sleeper version of Vande Bharat between New Delhi and Patna.
The train will cover 1,000 kilometers at a speed of 160 km/hour in 8 hours, promising comfortable and fast overnight travel.
The 16-coach train will provide a modern, faster and comfortable alternative for long-distance travel.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Facilities
The New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will feature bio-digester toilets with touch-free fittings, auto-sensing doors, soft lighting, ergonomic layout and well-designed berths with padding to make the ride feel like a stay at a luxury hotel than a train. The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will also feature anti-collision system, state-of-the-art coaches, CCTV and compliance with fire safety norms.
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train between New Delhi and Patna is expected to deliver the advanced technology of Vande Bharat, the comfort of Rajdhani and the speed of Tejas – all in a sleeper configuration for the first time.
Train Schedule
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will run between New Delhi and Patna six days a week. The train will help ease the rush between one of the busiest routes in the country. The ticket fare is expected to be on the same line as that of the Rajdhani Express.
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is expected to be launched before the New Year.
