Viral Video: 'Firecut' gone wrong ! Gujarat teen gets burnt while trying a new kind of haircut in salon

Viral Video: According to reports, a teenage boy was severely burned when his "fire haircut" at a salon in Gujarat's Valsad district's Vapi town went horrifically wrong.

The "fire haircut," which has grown in popularity recently, is a procedure where a barber or hairdresser utilises fire to style the customer's hair. The incident happened on Wednesday, and the fire that was lit on the man's hair as part of the procedure got out of hand.

The man had serious burns to his neck and chest and was brought to the hospital right away. An officer of the Vapi Town Police Station reported that after that, he was directed to the Civil Hospital in Valsad.

"We are trying to get the statement of the victim. He was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Valsad. We have learnt that from there he was taken to a hospital in Surat," Mr Makwana said. Both the barber and the 18-year-old victim's statements are being sought, according to investigating officer Karamsinh Makwana.

According to initial reports, the man's upper body was severely burned after some sort of chemical was given to his head for the "fire haircut," according to the police. To determine which chemical was utilised for the "fire haircut," an inquiry is -underway.
