Watch: Woman Officer From Mining Department Dragged, Attacked By People In Patna

In the Patna district of Bihar, a female mining department officer had been assaulted and dragged by individuals who were allegedly engaged in illegal sand mining on Monday.

The district’s Bihta town is where the tragedy occurred.

Online users were also able to view the terrible incident’s video. The woman cop was being attacked by a group of people, which was visible in the video. Additionally, they abused her. The police swung into action the moment the video went viral.

Three FIRs were filed by the police in this case. In relation to the event, 44 persons have been detained. Raids are being conducted in the interim to apprehend the fugitive accused. There has been a thorough investigation started.

“A group of anti-social elements attacked a district mining officer while she was carrying out an operation related to sand mining in the area. 44 arrested while 3 have been injured including the district mining officer and two mining inspectors,” Rajesh Kumar, SP, Patna (West) told news agency ANI.

After a young man died in Sitamarhi district of Bihar in February of this year under dubious circumstances, a group of people attacked Bihar Police officers in a related incident. In the Bhitta village, which is located in the Pupri police station area of Sitamarhi, a viral video depicts irate people throwing rocks at police officers and attacking their cars with sticks. In connection with the incident, 25 persons were detained by the police.
