Weather Report: Light Rain Hits Delhi

The weather pattern changed once again in Delhi-NCR on Saturday. The rain which started from the night continued till eight in the morning. During this, the wind was blowing at a speed of 14.7 kmph. The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours.

Rain is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh today and on 23 January. During January 22-24, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim. There is a possibility of isolated heavy rains in North Punjab and Haryana on 22 January. Rain is expected in Northeast India during the next two days.

On 22, there is a possibility of thunderstorm with lightning and hailstorm in West Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Strong wind speed reaching 20-30 kmph is very likely over East Uttar Pradesh on 23 January. Dense fog is likely over North Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh during 23-26 January.

Amidst the increase in the minimum temperature, dense fog remained in many areas including Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on Friday morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, there was moderate to dense fog in many areas of the state and this sequence is likely to continue for the next few days.
