Weather Update: April began on a wet note in majority regions, however, dry weather has now paced up in North India with temperature surging back again. In the midst of this, IMD has released a new forecast. Regarding the temperature, it is expected to be lower than usual by 2-4°C in most parts of North India. However, it will increase by 3-5°C over the same region in the next five days. There won’t be any heat wave in the country during this period.
Over the next week, the weather is expected to be mostly clear with lots of sunshine and a light to moderate breeze. Mornings may be chilly, but the air quality will be better. However, there won’t be any significant weather activity, which means that the temperature may increase. Regarding rainfall today, there could be thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds in certain parts of India, specifically Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
Delhi
Clear day with some isolated regions having partly overcast conditions awaits for the national capital today. The day will mostly remain clear and a surge in temperature is expected. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 19 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted that Mumbai and its suburbs will be partially overcast. No major change in weather conditions is likely in the upcoming days. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 27 degrees.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai will remain sunny and bright today. Isolated cloud cover is projected for today. The maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 26 degrees.
Kolkata
Sunny and clear sky is forecast by IMD for Kolkata today. No major shift in weather is predicted for the city. The maximum temperature will be 37 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
