Weather Update: It is anticipated that the northwest of India will continue to experience a chilly wave till January 18. Several areas of northwest and central India are predicted to have a minimum temperature drop of about two degrees Celsius till January 17, after which there will be a gradual rise of three to five degrees Celsius from January 18 to 20.
While Chandigarh and Delhi, as well as other areas of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana, are forecast to experience cold wave to severe cold wave conditions through January 17, with isolated pockets on January 18, cold wave conditions are also predicted for those areas.
