Weather Update: The intense heat wave is currently impacting large regions of the nation. It covers selected regions of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar. Additionally the parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience heat-wave conditions during the next five days, according to an official statement from the IMD. In April and May, when around a billion people are anticipated to cast votes in the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections, the IMD had previously issued a warning about intense heat. The national capital region’s highest temperature will reach 40 degrees Celsius during the next three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). However there won’t be any heatwaves that is anticipated in the same region. As per IMD, the weather situations of Patna and Ranchi seems to have cloudy today.

IMD forecasts that Arunachal Pradesh will likely see isolated areas of rainfall. Certain regions of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka are expected to have hot weather conditions. It is extremely likely that heat wave would exist in some areas of West Bengal. Similarly, the same weather conditions can be in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and interior Karnataka. Over several areas of Madhya Pradesh, warm nighttime conditions are extremely likely to prevail in few parts of it.
