Weather Update: The cold wave and chilly day conditions that have seized the northern and northwestern parts of India are expected to pass within the next 36 hours, according to a prediction issued on Sunday by the Indian Metrological Department (IMD). According to the meteorological service, this will occur as a result of an impending western disturbance that will disrupt the weather on January 10 in the states of Punjab and Haryana as well as the western Himalayas.
According to the meteorological department, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh were under a red alert for intense fog. Additionally, Rajasthan and Bihar have been given an orange alert for intense fog.
