Weather Update: IMD states that there is a high probability of rainfall over few parts of Northern areas of the nation including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. The capital of West Bengal, Kolkata is also likely to have rainfall as it appears to have dark cloudy condition in the city. Earlier in the day, IMD predicted thunderstorms and rain in few parts in the Delhi NCR and Gurugram region. However, in certain North Indian states, the impact of western disturbances can cause rapid weather changes. The western disturbance is further influencing the weather patterns through a variety of atmospheric phenomena in Rajasthan and nearby regions.

For the next few days, many states should expect significant rainfall, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Aside from this, North India is now experiencing intense heat. It is quite probable that many parts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will have hot day. Fishermen and other people who visit the coastal areas should avoid the regions along and off the coast of Oman and the adjacent Northwest Arabian Sea due to the expected dominance of squally weather.
