Moderate to extremely thick fog is expected to prevail in many places of Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Surface wind speed is expected to be 15-25 kmph during the day time.
Uttar Pradesh
Many areas in the state are likely to experience extremely thick fog that may considerably impair road visibility and interfere with individual and group travel plans.

Dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail during early hours or morning hours in isolated pockets of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Heavy Rain Prediction
Parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman-Nicobar and Puducherry are likely to witness heavy rain. There is also an additional warning for severe storms and winds in the lowlands. Mountainous areas may experience moderate to intense snowfall on December 16.
Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana
Dense fog conditions are highly likely to prevail during morning hours in isolated parts of Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana.
Southern States
Highly probable cold wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated locations over interior Karnataka and Telangana. The outskirts of Hyderabad and adjoining areas may experience chilly mornings and significant temperature dips.
Bengaluru is likely to experience comparatively pleasant winter days and chilly morning with temperatures ranging from the mid-teens to the top 20s.
