The national capital will experience a rise in temperature while coastal cities such as Mumbai & Kolkata will continue to have intense rainfall.
There's a possibility of very heavy rainfall affecting portions of Odisha. Heavy rains could strike areas in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Widespread rain and thunderstorm activity are anticipated over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
IMD has forecast a mostly sunny day for the national capital. The sky could turn partly cloudy post-evening, although the chances are low. For today, the maximum temperature will be 37 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 67%.
Mumbai
The day will mostly remain cloudy and rainfall will lash the city and its suburbs. Evening is likely to remain pleasant but showers will continue to drench the region. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 80%.
Chennai
As per the latest update, Chennai is projected to continue with its existing weather trends. The sky will mostly remain clear, and the chances of rain are close to not happening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 77%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will experience thundershowers with mostly cloudy sky today as well. No relief has been forecast by the IMD for this week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 79%.
