Weather Update Delhi-NCR to be clear; South India to experience moderate rainfall

Weather Update: The southwest monsoon is predicted to leave a few more areas of northwest India and neighbouring central India over the next two to three days. With this, the weather is likely to become more favourable.

While some parts of the nation are expected to see a cloudy weather, the other part is most likely to see thunderstorms with lightning. Read on more to get on to the region wise update:

Delhi

The capital is expected to be cloudy today. However, a clearer weather with more sunlight is more likely. However, IMD in latest weather update has said that a camp of clouds will be there for a next couple of days.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs is predicted to receive light rain. While the isolated areas are likely to have thunderstorms. The forecast for the next two days remains the same.

Chennai

The city will experience moderate showers with thunderstorms and lightning. Earlier, heavy rainfall had caused severe waterlogging in the city.

Northeast India, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha

Sister states and the above mentioned states are expected to receive scattered rainfall with lightning. While, the IMD has predicted the same for the Maharashtra and Karnataka.

South India

The latest forecast indicates fairly widespread rains with a cloudy sky on the southern peninsular of India.
