Weather Update: While several states in the nation have experienced calamity as a result of heavy rains, there is a likelihood of rain over the next four days in many other states. The monsoon has left many areas of North India, but the western region of India is still experiencing rains, according to the Meteorological Department's most recent update.
The rains are expected to be light to heavy in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Karnataka from today through October 20. Heavy rains are falling in various states as a result of the disturbances activity. Early in the morning, isolated parts of Northern and Central India may experience dense fog.

Delhi
The national capital region will remain clear for the day. However, mornings and evening have started to be cold-ish now, and the same pattern will now go on for a few days. There are no chances of rain happening today.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs will experience moderate rainfall with thunderstorms. The weather will continue to remain cloudy for the day.
Chennai
Scattered showers are predicted for the city with partial cloudiness. As per the latest weather update, the weather will become more gruesome from tomorrow onwards as heavy rains are expected to lash the city.

Isolated Rains predicted in these states
Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada, are predicted to receive isolated rains with a significant chance of lightning.
Scattered rain with thunderstorms is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Lakshadweep.
