Weather Update Delhi NCR to receive light showers, Heavy rainfall expected in Odisha

Weather Update: According to Indian Meteorological Department’s latest forecast, Southwest monsoon withdrew from sections of Southwest Rajasthan and adjacent Kutch. In the last six years, it has been the first time that the Southwest monsoon withdrew in the third week of September. IMD has also asserted that there will be no significant changes in maximum temperatures across the country.

It has also been observed that the western disturbances are impacting the Himalayan region.

Delhi

Delhi will experience light rainfall today and the sky will be cloudy. Isolated parts may also experience light to moderate rains with thunderstorms. Light rain is predicted for next five days as well.

Mumbai

The IMD has predicted light to moderate sky with a generally cloudy sky in Mumbai and surrounding areas.

North India and Sister states

Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Central, East & Northeast India will experience widespread to light rainfall today. The climate is expected to be less warm and humid, due to the rains.

West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar

Weather update for these state include light showers throughout the day with a cloudy sky.

Odisha, Telangana

Due to low pressure in Bay of Bengal, Odisha & Telangana are likely to receive fairly widespread rainfall while the isolates areas are expected to face heavy rainfalls.
